Fabric, cut clean at any scale

A laser cuts fabric with precision a blade cannot match, and seals the edge as it goes — synthetic-blend edges fuse, natural fibers lightly char. It is ideal for intricate patterns, appliqué, and repeatable production runs across cotton, felt, polyester, canvas, and denim.

Fabrics we cut, and edge sealing

A CO₂ laser cuts most natural and synthetic textiles — cotton, canvas, denim, felt, and polyester among them — with a precision that blade and scissor work cannot match across a run. On synthetic fabrics the laser lightly seals the edge as it cuts, which controls fraying; natural fibers cut cleanly with light edge charring.

We do not cut fabrics with a PVC or vinyl backing, or flame-retardant treated fabrics — their coatings are not laser-safe. Send vector files at 1:1 scale for pattern pieces, appliqué, and lace-effect detail; for unusual or coated textiles, send a sample first and we will test it.

Common questions

How much does laser-cut fabric cost?

Every job has a $65 minimum and a clear itemized quote, priced by material, cut time, and quantity, with no setup fees.

Does the laser stop fabric from fraying?

On synthetic fabrics, yes — the cut edge is lightly sealed. Natural fibers cut cleanly with light charring rather than a sealed edge.

What fabrics can you cut?

Cotton, canvas, denim, felt, polyester, and many other textiles. PVC- or vinyl-backed fabrics and flame-retardant treated fabrics are not laser-safe.

Can I bring my own fabric?

Yes — bring your own laser-safe textile and we do not mark it up. For unusual or coated fabric, send a sample so we can test it first.

Can you cut pattern pieces for sampling?

Yes — the laser cuts garment and pattern pieces directly from your file, identical every time, which is ideal for samples and short runs.
