Can you engrave a wood item I bring in?
Yes. Cutting boards, coasters, photo frames, knife handles, and similar items. Email us first if you are not sure the item is compatible — we will confirm it is safe to engrave before you bring it in.
Which woods engrave best?
Walnut, cherry, and maple engrave with strong contrast, and Baltic birch plywood works well for logos and labels. We engrave names, logos, artwork, and photos.
Can you cut the wood as well as engrave it?
Yes. We cut and engrave plywood, hardwoods, and basswood up to 1/4″ in one setup, with no engraving surcharge.
What does engraving cost?
There is no engraving surcharge when it is quoted with a cut, and every project has a $65 minimum. A real person prices every job and gives you one itemized quote, usually the same business day.
How long does it take?
Standard turnaround is 3 to 5 business days. Next-business-day rush is available on most jobs; mention your deadline in the quote form.
What file do I send?
Send artwork as a vector file (AI, DXF, or PDF) with text converted to outlines. Engraved photos can be a high-resolution raster image. We review every file for free before quoting.
